Discussion around the rationale and importance for a patient capital fund. Discussion will be based on genesis of SELCO Fund and supporting findings from a ground view study that reveals a mismatch between the supply side of impact investing and the demand side of enterprises working with marginalized communities. How do we correct this unequal playing field ultimately at the cost of the communities these enterprises were set up to serve?

Scaled the latter businesses to 110 employees with offices in three countries, and customers in over 70. Recently exited both. Now full-time mentor and angel investor.
