Roundabout | What can social investors do to build back better water supply and sanitation systems in developing countries following the covid-19 pandemic?
I help trustees and staff of foundations to transform the management of water security, sanitation, hygiene and climate change across Africa, Asia and South America, by finding and developing the best investment opportunities.
I will:
► Connect philanthropists to leading experts on WASH, health, climate and systems change
► Support foundations to build high impact coalitions with like-minded funders
► Ensure context-appropriate and sustainable programme design with robust M&E
Working in the international development sector for nearly two decades now, I have secured funds large and small for charities including Plan, VSO and now WaterAid, and managed a diverse mixture of teams. In this time, I have experienced first-hand some of the huge development challenges as well as impressive achievements of communities in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Pakistan, Rwanda and Sri Lanka.
